This project involved a preliminary site and plan development study for an assisted living and memory care rental community for a national senior housing developer. The design includes 62 assisted living apartments and 46 memory care units.

Situated on a small, sloping site in an affluent neighborhood near the Howard Hughes Medical Center, the project aimed to create a low-scale massing that would harmonize with the surrounding residential area. Three distinct elevation and architectural character studies were developed, with a Federalist style ultimately chosen to complement the nearby homes and institutions.
