Roberta Solorio Arellano

Roberta joins FitzGerald as an architectural designer focused on the social, behavioral, and environmental aspects of architecture. She has experience designing and detailing architectural, structural, and MEP elements for numerous residential, mixed-use, industrial & commercial projects in the Chicagoland area. She has successfully coordinated communications with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and permit processes.
She has a Master of Architecture from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing her licensure in Illinois. Roberta is an active member of Arquitectos, an organization of architects, engineers, designers, contractors, landscape architects, and urban planners from all backgrounds and nationalities that offers opportunities for career and professional development. She is fueled by a passion to design spaces and places that prioritize the surrounding community--more specifically how communities can, not only be brought together, but also be connected to and understood by others through the power of inclusive design.
