FitzGerald was selected to renovate this 526-unit affordable apartment community near Northern Illinois University. The site features one- and two-bedroom apartments and two- and three-bedroom duplex townhomes across 30 buildings.

The renovation plans include new windows, siding, roofing, kitchens, and heating system replacements for 75% of the existing units. Additionally, 26 units will be fully overhauled to meet accessibility standards.  Site modifications will provide accessible routes to the updated units, along with a remodel and expansion of the existing community center.  The upgraded center will include new community spaces like a splash pool.

The Project is financed through HUD and IHDA, with FitzGerald supporting the application and design process.
