330 Chestnut Street
Chicago, Illinois
Comprising 128 loft-style apartments, 330 Chestnut is a neighborhood-scale building that harmonizes with the recently constructed high-rise residences nearby and the historic loft conversions throughout the area.
The design features broad glazed openings within a visible frame that highlights the building’s structural elements, aiming to reinterpret the simple frame structures of the Chicago School of Architecture in a modern, contemporary style.
The ownership and design team also plan to collaborate with a local art school to create a large mural on the opaque section of the north façade.
