Utilizing a hard-to-find, expansive, through-block lot in Chicago’s Near North Side, FitzGerald devised a unique plan to integrate with the Fullerton Avenue streetscape by designing a six-story condominium building with traditional architectural cues that provides 57 condominium units. The design also features an arched entryway leading to the first of two groupings of luxurious townhomes facing into small private parks, comfortably nestled in the center of the block, away from the busy thoroughfare.

Garages and vehicular traffic on the site are kept within alleys along the site’s perimeter, leaving the Altgeld Club’s courtyards entirely for pedestrian use, with landscaped paths and green space play areas.
